Leah Mallory is a New York City based Journalist, currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism at Fordham University. Her journey began in the WFUV Public Radio newsroom — Fordham’s NPR-affiliate & award winning station — where she served as a host and reporter for the daily What’s What podcast. Beyond audio, Leah’s storytelling journey extends to the written word. She’s been published in Fordham University’s writing journal for excellence in student writing, their magazine, and award-winning newspaper The Observer, and has also worked as a Staff Blogger for a consulting firm.
Notable highlights include interviews with Emmy-nominated writer and stand-up comedian Josh Johnson, celebrated dancer Misty Copeland, and White House Secretary Karine Pierre Jean.
Currently, Leah is an intern with the 7 On Your Side unit at WABC-TV, the most-watched TV station in the U.S, carrying out production tasks and assisting reporter Nina Pineda.

In this role, she writes articles and produces multimedia content that reaches tens of thousands of readers across print, digital, and social media platforms, focusing on Black perspectives related to advancing digital equity and access to technology in the local community.
